Vertex 3M
A rigid 3-axis vertical machining centre for high-volume production work, sized for real job-shop floors.
What you get.
- Built for uptime over spec-sheet glamour, the machine you run three shifts a day.
- Optional 4th-axis rotary without re-engineering the enclosure or the coolant path.
- Robot-ready: the enclosure and control are prepared for a Tend Cell from day one.
- Same cast-frame and metrology standards as the Vertex 5X.
The numbers that matter.
Representative figures. Every machine is engineered to your parts, throughput and site. We confirm the exact spec during scoping.

Not every part needs five axes. The Vertex 3M is the workhorse, a rigid 3-axis vertical machining centre for the bracket, plate and housing work that fills most shop schedules.
Where it fits
The 3M is the right answer when volume matters more than geometry: repeat parts, long runs, and jobs where the constraint is spindle hours rather than setups. It takes the same frame and calibration discipline as the Vertex 5X and puts it into a simpler, cheaper machine.
Designed to be automated later
The most common regret we see is a machine that can't be automated without tearing the cell apart. The 3M's enclosure, door interlocks and control I/O are specified for robot tending from the start, so when a night shift starts looking attractive, adding a Tend Cell is an integration job, not a rebuild.
Configuration options
Table size, spindle taper, tool magazine, through-spindle coolant and a 4th-axis rotary are all specified during scoping.
